Another camping season will begin soon

Post by Fire Cakes »

We are very excited to start another camping season, we have three trips already booked

1. Memorial Day weekend 4 nights
2. Fathers Day Weekend 2 nights
3. The weekend and week after school is out June 25 - July 1 6 nights.

The rest of our trips will be made on days that Dean is off of work and we don't have any other events to attend. We are hoping that we can possibly get in one trip before Memorial Day but the scheduling isn't looking to promising.

For everyone that camps I hope this season is the best one for you. Enjoy your trips and remember to post pictures.

Happy Camping!!!!!! :partyman:

Hi Lynne,

I wish you and yours a very good camping season too.
Mine and my G/F's already season started with a trip to the cabin for a week. It was great.
The lake was still frozen but the ice was very rotten, so no fishing this trip but there will me on the May long weekend.
It had been almost a year since we were there, we had a great time and we can't wait to get back.

Our first trip to the Oregon Dunes was over spring break (and posted here).

Some friends just invited us out for Memorial Day Weekend, so we are headed to the shadows of Mt. Rainier to Eatonville for three nights where we'll all be camped near a lake and have reservations for a steam train ride on that Saturday. Should be fun and pics will be posted!

No idea of what summer will bring. Our original goal was a trip to the Grand Canyon. Our problem is finding a couple of open weeks to make the trip. We also have a family reunion picnic in mid July at my dad's place on the Puget Sound. This normally wouldn't be 'camping', but with lots of family members due in and a limited number of beds, we opted to bring our motorhome. With luck, I'll also have our little speed boat ready for that trip too!

Hope everyone has a wonderful camping and recreation season!

I don't think anyone flies to the event. There's a lot of equipment that needs to be transported.

I just looked the other day and there are no sites left at Letchworth, looks like it would have to be a day trip for you if you attended.

Haven't camped this year yet, right now I am re-caulking the trailer. Actually, I am currently removing the old caulk and now trying to figure out how to get rid of the remaining caulk residue before re-caulking.
