Unthinkable read !!

I broke down and did it !!! I couldn't remember how to change the time on the radio and did the unthinkable , I got out the owners manuel and read it. LOL there is a lot of good information in there !!

What is this owners manual you speak of?

Hmm, I've never asked for directions in my life, so I KNOW I'm a man.

But I always read vehicle owners manuals (when I first get them).

what's special or what should one know if pulling the stock radio for an aftermarket?

Nothing I would imagine !! My first post was about reading the owners manual to set the clock 'cause I forgot how to do it !! LOL

i really have to have more coffee in the morning or reread posts twice before i post stupid questions. i swear i read that as replacing your radio, not just setting the clock

When pulling the stock radio be sure to give it away and then remember to toss the papers that come with the aftermarket radio. This way you will ensure a peace installation and use of the equipment :)

I was lucky my recently purchased '96 Safari actually had the owners manual! ... And yes, I did the same thing as far as the radio goes... Feels like a 'confession' of sorts... LOL ;-)

I've got to re-read the owner's manual each time the time changes from Standard to Daylight Savings and back.

They are suppose to come with radio's and owners manuals.......I've been screwed again!!!!!!

I am sorry but you will have to hand in your man card now... :poke:

Remember stopping to ask for directions goes against the man code in the worst way possible. But having a GPS is OK because the techie factor out weighs the asking for directions bit.
