Radiator Recomendations?

Post by Great A'Tuin »

Does anyone have experience w/ any of the 1" radiators from Replacement or Nissens? I've always had good results w/ Nissens (OE on my SAABs) and some of the on-line parts stores are showing a 1" core rather than the anemic 5/8 I have now.
I was nearly ready to go w/ the TranSport transfusion, but if I can get a stock-fit 1", that's good enough for me.

It's gonna get hot soon and I want to be ready!

The only one I know of, other than custom installs, is the one dragonvan installed in the HD radiators thread stickied here. His is a Reach Cooling brand but if they offer a warranty, I say go for it. More cooling capacity is always better.
Current rides:
2013 Toyota Tundra DC 4x4
2008 Dodge Nitro 4x4
2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8S Special Edition

1995 Astro 2WD conversion 4.11 posi, shift kit, DHC rock rails - sold to Skippy
1998 Astro 4x4 D44, D60, NP231, full hydraulic system with 9k# Milemarker winch and snow plow - sold to Lockdoc
2003 Astro AWD all stock - traded for a 3/4 ton truck
2005 AWD, 4.10's - sold to skippy

I called the shop provided in the sticky and they no longer have the Reach radiators. Maybe I missed them in the past, but now I'm suddenly seeing at least 2 other brands claiming to have the 1" core. WorldPac (USAutoparts.com) takes returns, no problem. When they sent me the wrong front Bilsteins, they took them right back w/ full credit and even sent me a pre-paid Fed-Ex label.
I'll buy one tonite and let the list know how it goes...
