95 safari wiper motor so slow....

Is there anything inside of those wiper units that i can grease to try to bring it back to life? it goes soooooo slow. or should i just replace the whole thing?

You can clean and repack the gear box. Just use white grease.

I am assuming same would apply to the 2001's - we are having a typical Calgary Springs and with the snow we are receiving the old wiper motor on the front started making a hell of a racket - nice howling noises - I really should record it! Anyway I'll see if I can get around to that but it looks like I will also be having to take apart and lube up some wiper parts - not really looking forward to this - I am thinking it is going to be a fairly labour intensive process digging around under there. Here's hoping I am wrong! :swords:

Try cleaning up you big three battery connections first. You may be surprized how much that will effect the speed of your wipers.

An Army buddy of mine had the same problem on his BMW. The grease in the gear case was petrified! Of course, it would barely move. Once cleaned out and re-lubed, it worked like a charm.
