Makes ya wonder...... I'm betting all the current engineers there are young go getter types who think their fixes are reinventing the wheel. When in reality Grandpa already knows it won't work. Respect your elders dammnit!

30,000 holes drilled in the Gulf,,not a bad record as far as blow outs are concerned,,of course, I wasn't asked my thoughts but wonder what happened to the Gov. agency that's supposed to monitor these guys. Think they were watching porn and taking payoffs weren't they ?
My point being,,,more are at fault than BP for sure but don't think this outlaw gang in DC has taken the blame for anything yet and my guess is, they won't.
I'm not the expert but can tell ya,,anyone who thinks a floating oil rig not tied to anything will stay where it's put is a dreamer.

I'm with ya on that one Rebel! Me thinks that a whole lot of BLAME is going to be spread around in this "Investigation" by the folks at the AG's office. Not sure, but I'm sure that BP will be found guilty of a whole lotta sins. Same could be said for the guv's watchdogs. I'm not surprised anymore by the inability of ANYONE to accept blame for their actions, guess that makes me a cynic. I seem to recall taking a lot of lumps earlier in life for my poor decisions. Guess that is not "politically correct" anymore, after all, it takes a village to raise a child, NOT!!! :axe: :muhaha:
