that van is just sweet lookin, i like the stock rims, just that they have there limits, but not yours... haha just a beefy lookin machine you got, you should get the deeper rings for the rims... my dads got some pretty deep ones here, but no rims to fit em haha.
Ali's comment was pleasant. But Crash, you scare me LOLOL
Please do not look at the pic of my Ford 9". The U-bolt set-up in that pic is disgraceful. My set-up was improved within a few weeks of that pic. I'll be deleting that pic and substituting a shot of the upgraded (and professional-looking) set-up
what do you do if you need to change out your rear end, this may be a stupid question but ive never seen a dif welded shut like that before, would definitely have its advantages but seeing i just had to have my rear posi carrier and spider gears and everything replaced it scares me a bit.
Well Gnarli, I believe that positive thinking is powerful. When getting ready to MIG my cover, I had a few gnawing reservations. But I repeated to myself "My rearend will NEVER blow or cause me troubles". "My rearend will be indestructible and last forever".
It's all about positive thinking, really!

Tell the truth Petey!!!
(Petey treats most things as disposable. If the rearend grenades, he will just toss it out and spend another $2500+ [US] for a new one. Our pal Petey has DEEEEEEEEP pockets!)
(Maybe you should post a pic of the front side of the diff Petey....)

Peter, I don't know...that casting on the Safari's rear end looks a little rough. Well, like someone got a little carried away with the grinder at the factory, know what I mean?
I think you should remove the carrier and smooth those rough edges up with some file work.
You know you want to.
