Loaded up 10' sticks of electrical strut and brought them home so I could build a sex swing stand. It's nice how I can easily fit 10' long materials from the back door to the dash. :-k

Waxed the back doors of the Astro (I waxed everything else earlier this week) and worked on some interior lighting...am moving the rear map lights and dome lights around...then my neighbor saw tools in my hand, and needed me to put a stereo in his truck (which isnt an Astro...so we no talk about that XD

mine hasn't been seeing much love lately other than fuel and washer fluid.. i strongly dislike winter
I have the fancy one-piece wipers but find that the passenger wiper does not make contact on the far right side. Is this just an astro van thing?
correct, non make the full contact that i've come across. you'll find to that just because of that little hump on the pass side that will be the wiper that starts missing the middle of it's wipe area first, it'll eventually bow itself. i usually try to 'rotate' my wipers ride to side to prolong this bowing effect on the pass side.

Picked up my third set of wipers. The first set were the normal "old" style but were streaking. I then bought the fancy one piece blades and found they weren't wiping the window. Part of the problem being the right side seems to have an angle to it not accommodated by windshield wipers (thanks GM). So I took those back to O'reillys and picked up Icon old school wipers. The manual I read calls for 18 inch but I Think you could put on 19's pretty easy.

The guy at the counter "your springs could be bad". Well, if they are bad after a mere 9 years on the road-well, that would really suck.
What do you think of my quest to swap transfer cases to the venerable BW4472?

Nice sunny day, gave the van a quick wash. My "UltraGauge" arrived in the mail, so tinkered around with that for a while, hope to build a custom mount on the ash for it today.

I got the UltraGuage mounted, (mcGuyvered a stainless steel spatula to make the bracket!) Was vaccuuming afterwards and discovered funky fungus growing under my floormats (which were deceivingly clean and dry on top). Yup, some unplanned carpet cleaning followed.

I installed a skid plate based on Lifted's plans, took my wife out for a drive in the desert to test it out. Didn't hit anything in spite of the loss of about 1.25 inches of ground clearance :) Got muddy.
