Hello all, I recently purchased a 97 astro base model with 210000 km on it for $3000. Thanks to this site I have fixed the vent selector vacuum line and greased up the slider. Looking forward to attempting the spark plugs. I plan on painting the rims, and touching up the black between the windows. So far I am loving the volume of space this ride offers.
Oh ya, I'm in Victoria BC Canada . This looks like a great forum and hopefully I can contribute.
Thanks

You live in a very unique, kick ass little city with awesome water and mountains only minutes away. I love Victoria. And to make it even better, I've seen Orca whales on the way there and the way back every time I've gone there.
What's going to happen to the Salmon Kings now that the Chiliwak Bruins are moving there? Are they moving or can the city support two teams?
Hello there fellow Islander.
Nice lookin new 2u ride!
Is it loaded down with stuff, or is the rear end saggin a bit?
Food for thought, I bought brand spankin new leafsprings from Nanaimo shop for 300.
What a great improvement!
I'm not positive but I think we are keeping both hockey teams. At certain times of year you can catch a view of Grey and Orca whales on their way to the feeding grounds near the San Juan islands. This really is a beautiful part of the world.
Now the Cowichan valley is even more of a paradise, its part of my retirement plan.
I don't think the springs are too bad. I thought the same thing when looking at that picture. $300 for new springs, are they stock ride?
Welcome! Wow, another BCer... We are getting a bit heavy on Western Canuks!

Yup, could just be the photo, sorry, no mine arent stock ride. those would cost less I bet.
i have a 4" lift. Mine give about 4+inches of lift, but still have a smooth ride not a bucking mule ride!
