no start 95 vin w

Heres the quick summary

last night lots of rain,was crankin good but would not catch,in the past i just hit the cap and wires with wd40 and all was well,but had to get the kids home and had no time for this.

this morn much colder out, tried it again and nothin not a sound,tried bangin the starter nothin

no headlights or interior lights,horn barely worked,tried boosting but still nothing, myradio would work and the door buzzer when the key was in ignition worked, also did not hear the fuel pump at all and last night you could hear it loud and clear

we connected the pos booster cable to my pos term and the neg to the ground bolt on rad support not even a spark also tried connecting to neg on batt term nothin

could this be a fusible link?? if so how do I test for this?

I just checked the batt,read 12.47 at the terms and from the pos term to the rad support ground.pulled the batt out and noticed the fusible links had ice around them from the water that dripped down and froze overnight.

I'm back in the saddle againnnnnnnnnnnnn!

Turned out to be the nut under the red cap which holds that connector up against the stud on the firewall,darn thing was loose,tightened her down and all was good fired up like new,heres a diagram of where i'm talking about...


Course I found this out after spending a couple hrs outside freezing mao checkin the continuity of what ever wire I could check,but hey its all good in the hood now![/img]

Yes in that picture. I did get it put back into place before I finished though.
