View new posts working?

Post by BLAZER »

Seems like since the upgrade when I come out here and hit view new post, it always comes back with "no posts matching your criteria" . I manually check the forums and there are new posts. Is this a personal setting or maybe something in my profile?
Thanks

I haven't had that problem, but long ago, before the upgrade, it used to happen occassioinally. Never figured out why.....

I also have to continuously sign in and have to manually check for new posts. It's been this way since the forum was moved.

Thats gonna take some explaining ,cause I have no clue what you just said,LOL

I know that for me what I have been doing is clicking on the link for checking my mail messages, then once that pg loads I can then see the link for check new posts and just go from there, give that a try.

btw this only works for me using firefox at home, does not work using I.E when I'm at work.

Works perfectly for me! It is just like it was on the old server. I don't use the show new threads feature though. I just open the threads with a new post, which is shown by the different colored box in front of it.

when you first come to the home page http://astrosafarivans.com there is a large logo at the top, when you click on the forum link, the forum loads in the frame under that logo. I have had issues with the login when it stays in the frame, but it seems to go away when the forum is loaded in its own window.

I may recode the front page and just take out the frame set.

I have no idea what frameset is. I com etothe site, click on forum van, then sign in and check the "stay logged in box" the view new post doesn't work, then as soon asI leave site and come back, have to re-log on. I do use IE, but I don't think it's a cookie issue cause it happens both at home and work PC's. I occassionally had the not staying logged in before the upgrade, but now it's all the time...and still no emails for replies to threads or emails stating I have PM's

I come straight to the board at this URL:

http://astrosafarivans.net/bb/index.php ... 7184c4b878

Everything works fine for me, except sometimes I have to login, I usually check the box to keep me logged in. but sometimes it loses that.

Same here, I come straight to the board.

I had to log back in last night, but that is the first time in over a month. I had to re-log in more frequently before the move.

Have you deleted your cookies for this site? I had some issues before I did that.
