I'm still around guys........ I to am glad for the back up board. Although I did like the black screen from the old format better. This new format is taking some time to get use to.

Gary, I can still get in chat with my screen name. Everything looks the same. Just check your password.

Weird that the only part of as.com that is down is the forum. All the other parts work. WEIRD! sure glad this site is here, Merlin.

Yes in deedy A.S crash #12

All this place really needs,is for a few more Reg's to start postin over here, and the A.S crashing problems would be resolved.

ASV should be much more than just a back-up board by now.

Yeah, I think calling it a back-up board is an insult to Zam and Justice.

PJ,
It doesn't matter with the forum being down anyways.I do agree that is site is not a back-up board.Dow and Keith have done a great job making this better. The future is here anyhow.Consider the possiblilty that some day AS will crash and not come back.I mean I guess it could happen and that would be that.

This is true but not only the wealth of infomatin over there is better aside from the uptime issues I like the board it's self better. Honestly I do. More info in the topic headers aswell as a simple new posts link and a much prettier and simpler layout. No offence or anything just personal preference.

One thing I think that would be neat and give this board an edge is a portal page. Instead of that main page that's currently there. like MK portal. Some the features it adds would be really cool. Like personal blogs ( work logs) a scroll anouncement section as well as a few other neat things. IIRC MK portal it's self is super easy to setup and run. also free.

Thats fine by me,everyone is free to express their likes and dislikes about either or both boards,I certainly have my views

How come the time on the post is off? What time should it say? EST, CST? Or did I do something wrong?
