Camping in style...Harper style!

Post by LiftedAWDAstro »

Been busy the last couple days...picked up a new camper today!

It's a 2012 Jayco Jay Flight 26BH and we traded our 2007 Jayco 232 hybrid in. We are so looking forward to the ease of setup and teardown it isn't funny! This thing is loaded...roof ladder, electric awning, ducted A/C, porcelain toilet, outside stereo speakers, outside step light etc. etc. Also has a queen bed up front and 2 bunks out back, double on bottom and twin on top. Interior pics tomorrow. I already modified it by installing a new hand towel ring in the bathroom and moved the spare over for installation of a 2" receiver hitch! :muhaha:
Current rides:
2013 Toyota Tundra DC 4x4
2008 Dodge Nitro 4x4

Yeah that is rust...not bad really for a nearly 10 year old truck that has spent its entire life in snow country starting in Alaska and ending up in New York. Gotta love salt and sand!

Ben is now 5'9" tall and still growing. He eats a LOT! :muhaha:

Yup, salesman got me again...he met my target trade-in price and we shook hands! The hitch is for our bike rack. We are heading for our maiden voyage with this camper Friday morning up to Higley Flow State Park up in the Adirondacks. I don't like sleeping on the ground or in a wet tent so I will gladly buy a new camper and go in style!

Super Nice!
I gather your last name is Harper??

Kinda grabbed my eye b'cuz in Canada saying "Camping Harper Style" would be just like saying "Camping Obama Style" to Americans.
So I was expecting as a joke, either pictures of the cheepest small tent imaginable, or a super luxurios opulent rig, fit for royalty.

Pleasantly surprised, I like yours better !

Jesus, why don't you just slap wheels under you house & be done with it? :smurf:
