New Guy

Post by BBSig »

I recently purchased a 2002 Astro AWD and new it needed some work so I found the forum. Been doing some reading and fixing it up. Already fixed a few problems based on what had previously been posted and appreciate all the info that is out here. Looking forward to contributing one day.

I have previously worked at a parts store and as a helicopter mechanic so I am not lost when it comes to wrenching but I am new to the 'Stro. Looking forward to learning my new vehicle and all the bugs that it has.

A helicopter Mechanic eh?

So what is the torque value to be used on an S92A "Whenever Tail Rotor Drive Shaft Section I is installed or Tail Rotor Drive Shaft Section I attaching hardware is loosened: Perform torque stabilization procedure within 5-15 flight hours. Refer to task: 65-11-01-420-001."

:yikes: ?!?! Just razzin ya.......

Well, no.
But, if I ever decide to be the first to do a GE CT7-8A (S92A) engine swap into an Astro, Gary, I hope you are the first to see the pix !

Should fit no prob !! LOL. And the 2634 shp would be a nice little bump, eh?
Where doya think I could get an adapter to bolt that to my T5 5 speed ? :yikes:
