Anyway, I have a 93 AWD Safari that is a bit of a project. Runs great, but needs the front wheel drive components.
Anyway, I'm hoping to learn a lot more about it here.

Your 93 AWD probably has a VIN-W motor (CPI)
Not a VIN-Z motor (TBI)
But it could have either.
You can easily tell two ways:
1) Look at the 8th digit of the VIN. It is either a Z or a W.
2) Look at the engine: It either looks like it has a carb on top with a round aircleaner
or
it has the big Vortec CPI manifold with the aircleaner box up front connected by a rubber tube. (Almost looks like the TPI system on some V8 Camaros)
The CPI (VIN-W) engines have a LOT more power than the TBI (VIN-Z) engines.
