At 9:30 last night it was 14c/57F. It's 10c this morning and the buds on the trees in my backyard are starting to open.
It was 3c in Whistler yesterday, thats where they plan on holding the winter Olympics in about a month. Good luck with that.
With the massive rainfall we have been getting and the high temperatures melting the snow cap, heavy flooding is expected all over BC, especially on the Island.
Some of the rivers on the Island can rise up to 3 meters above normal, overnight.
We are expecting another shiticane today. Grab your swim trunks.

Thanks for that comment Mr Smarty-pants.... This is our rainy season here in SoCal, and the only time that we see rain all year round, so my front lawn is finally turning from straw into green grass.

The streets of LA are getting flooded because of our lame a$$ drainage system, and the mud-slides are pouring down from the hills. It has been raining all week with some bitchin` thunderstorms which have been fun to watch.

My front yard is soo flooded right now, I`m gonna launch one of my jet-skiis, and blast around.....

Uh, Larry? You and I need to have a talk about 'rust.' I seem to remember seeing photos of the underside of your van and it looked like the day it came off of the assembly line to me...
Oh, if only rust didn't exist...

Here in Roch,NY winter isn't over until the last snowman melts.

Been in the upper 30's and even in the lower 40's.

I predict another 6 wks of winter even through I saw a flock of geese flying back.

Hummm, where the heck is that dumb ground hog??. :muhaha:

the geese around here are so messed up. within the last few weeks I've seen them coming and going and coming again. I've even almost ran over about 4 squirrels in the last week. used to be when the geese were gone that was it til around april. as for squirrels... i'm not really sure what's going on ... i'm pretty sure they should be sleeping or something :-k

It's our rainy season too, but a half a metre of rain in four day's is a bit much, even for us wet coast residence.
Maybe you could turn your BBQ into a rainfall gauge. :muhaha:
