Green: Past couple days drove it to Salt Lake City, UT. Was supposed to be driving the Liberty to Moab, UT, but it developed an intake valve issue on cylinder #2. Friend in SLC is loaning us a Jeep to run in Moab.

Driving home from work as usual, thought a sidetrack was in order so looked for a road to try out.
pulled off of highway 18 to investigate an interesting looking road.
Took video and uploaded it to youtube, see...

No, I didnt video THAT road, Lol, no seriously, ha ha, but Doubtfull.
The pigs fly a bell helicopter around and around in the valley here each fall with equipment to spot those ever elusive guerilla gardens.
They put on a pretty big show of it each year for a few weeks. That big assS61 was defiantly in the logging business.

Pulled the wood roof molding off the shop van to see how the high top is attached so a transfer to Ole Yellar can be planned.Surprised to see wood blocking for shims and found rope lighting that I didn't know was there. They are wired to a three panel switch that I guess wasn't wired in anymore.I am going to salvage the shape of the over head counsel to build a custom white oak one for Ole Yellar and the switch panel to wire in new rope lights for the rear of it.Talked to my fabricator about bringing over his plasma cuter to cut out the top of Ole Yellar.Pixs to follow.

decided that I'm now taking parts requests off the '97 van- figure no one would want a rolling chassis with a bad core support. I'm just gonna sell what I can and junk the rest. anyone need parts?
also- motor was pulled from gray van today. intake gaskets were leaking and replaced. new starter from conversion van was installed on gray van's engine.
also found out conversion van has its own heater and AC system in the back. cool! (or hot) lol

Will post pics of aforementioned man lift tomorrow.

Worshiped the gas pump...

For it gave me 19.7 mpg this morning.

Praise be the gas pump.

Armor All'd the dash earlier! It looks a lot better because I hadn't cleaned it for a few months and these gravel roads around here get pretty dusty at 50-65 mph.

dude- you just ruined you dash. armor all makes plastic disintergrate and crack.
oh- and my conversion van now runs ($2300 later). it also has a tow package (has a button for towing/ hauling on the shifting stalk) I also semi cleaned the drivers door and vaccumed the carpet. hauled out 1 black trash bag of trash after the prev owner cleaned it out. also found a bunch of twizzler pieces. mmmmm

I forgot to do a "before" pic, so there's not much to compare it to. The windshield was rather dirty as well, so there wasn't much of a good angle to get an after pic either...
Don't worry, though, because tomorrow I might clean the windshield and then I can get a good pic of both the dash and the windshield!
