Disappeared for two weeks to drive out to Utah and back in Green. Used a friend's Jeep while we were out there. Here's Green's fuel log for the trip.
6/1/11 366.5 16.80 21.8 3.659
6/1/11 375.9 21.31 17.6 3.609
6/1/11 473.1 21.53 22.0 3.869
5/31/11 442.9 21.01 21.1 3.899
5/30/11 330.9 17.14 19.3 3.659
5/23/11 445.7 23.19 19.2 3.799
5/23/11 357.4 17.63 20.3 3.959
5/23/11 441.7 22.22 19.9 3.799

The 17.6 is from when my wife decided to drive 75-80 mph for a tank without drafting. I typically kept it around 70 on the interstates unless I had a fast semi to draft and I usually did 10 over rural and 5 over city. Burned more gas coming back due to taking the scenic route through UT, WY, and CO.

The boys and I went WOT for 15 minutes to get to where the creek mouth is.
Got about an hour of fishin in before it started getting dark.

Actually Jim I have started in the rear quarter of the shop a pc of plywood tack to the wall and some of the bigger parts hung up on nails. The bolt parts some are in zip bags sorted by what they are and labeled in boxes and some are in macaroni salad containers that I found fit pretty good on a rotisserie parts storage rack. You right though Jim.It is a PITA to store those things and it is a PITA not to have them when you are putting things back together.Especially when your working on a long term project.Lastly is does help to follow rule 6b and have pictures for reassembly.

Green is currently getting both my wife and I to work. After 170k miles, it appears that the Jeep dropped a valve seat. Told it's fairly common in the 3.7 and 4.7 Chrysler motors.

Oh yeah, forgot to say Green rolled over 200k miles on the Utah trip.

Only 5.5% higher. Probably explains the MPG diff between Green and Grumpy.

Aaron,

I know Grumpy is AWD, But how much of a difference in torque is there between the 2?

Thanks, Jim
