You will really learn alot about these vans. There are many mods that you can do. But don't believe those who tell you that you can put a big block in an Astro/Safari. Its not possible...

Nope...no way it can be done. If the engineers at GM thought it was possible to stuff a SBC, let alone a BBC, into these vans they would have offered them as options! Oh and there is NO possible way to make the back half of a van into a camper either! It'll never tow right...just can't be done.

and that goes for tires as well, the largest you can fit is 215/75/r15 any larger will cause rubbing , pinching, grinding, and there will be no way to open the slider, physically impossible, don't even try.
