I can see them - hosted by photobucket. All links correct. Are they visible by anyone else?

Thanks anyway Darren.

More work done!

Here is a picture of the fully installed wheelarch closing off the interior. I have recycled bits of the original cut out wheel arch! All butt welded for accuracy.

Image

Here's a view of the inside. Notice the room just to the left of the brake pedal.

Image

To close off the front section of the arch, I had to make a wooden former to hammer the steel over and spot weld a section to the bottom of it.

Thanks guys

More progress-a bit slow, but like the hare and the tortoise,.........

Wheelarch etch primed and seam sealed. Now waiting for a coat of 2K red and then cover it all up with black dinitrol 4941, Nothings gonna get past that sucker.

Image

And, onto the inside. All sealed and etch primed awaiting paint. Time to start thinking about the refit on this side. Handbrake first.
Here it is refitted and pushed down, and just touching the wheelarch.

Image

I need to shorten it and move the pad out towards me about 2 inches..
to be continued......................................

Andy.

Bit more done today.

Managed to put another coat of epoxy primer on the wheelarch and then hit it with 2K BRIGHT red!!

Image

Then a slight skim of filler (Chip Foose style) under the bonnet where the battery used to be, and a coat of etch primer.

These are views of the new wheelarch where the battery used to reside.

Image

Image

Shortening the handbrake pedal next, then paint the underbonnet area and it all goes back together on that side.

New bushes in upper and lower arms, gas weld in a new section under the subframe and we are done.

Then repeat all this on the other side ](*,)

Andy.

Hi Danny.
Thanks for the interest!
Yep, the other side will be interesting to say the least.
The plans are to duplicate the other side, then put fan and AC evaporator back in mid air (without the case) and fabricate a new surround 8-[

I need this working again or my Wife will murder me :poke:

Thanks GEJ.
High price to pay for this though - really, really, really, time consuming :D
