Well, after looking at several other vans, I went ahead and bought this today AM. I did not get tags yet, so I have to wait until tomorrow to get it towed to the shop. AAA wont tow if it does not have tags, so that will add a day or 2 delay. I got it for less than I expected, so all in all I think I got a good deal, even if it has a few major mechanical issues.

Pics attached.

OK, well, part of the results are in.

It had cracked heads! My mechanic said one of the heads had a 2" crack, and the thermostat was melted.

Getting new (reman) heads new thermostat, water pump, hoses. He has not checked the radiator yet, but that will be checked and replaced if needed.

The Jury is still out on if I got a good deal, an average deal or a bad deal.

I will let you know once I drive it. Supposed to be ready tomorrow. Right now, with radiator he told me $1400. That is parts/labor everything.
