I was loading a heavy hydraulic cylinder into the back of my van recently and smacked the rear window so hard that I thought it would break. It did not. Why? I don't know. But I can tell you that the window has been tinted. Did it spread out the force of the blow? I would say yes. Their are Products out there that can add to the strength of glass. After all don't all windshields have a laminate layer? You may just need to add a couple more layers of laminate. Could a laminate be applied in an aerosol form? Sure they could. You need something. Why not find something and give it a try. What do you have to lose? Jim

Nothing to loose, thanks for the heads up. I'd just never heard of such a product before so I was skeptical :)

I've thought about anti-shatter clear tint film.. 3-4 layers etc on the inside.

i can definately appreciate the time, money and effort involved in this. But unless your competing for money, i cant really see that purpose in that. You cant turn it up that loud and drive it can you?

Wouldn't the same apply to those who want to put larger engines into their vans...

Capable of doing 130 MPH, But why?

To each, His own.

Not necessarily, a larger engine could be installed for practical purposes such as heavy towing or hauling and can be built accordingly. Theres only one thing to do with a wall of speakers... break the windshield.

Not True.

That wall of speakers can also produce better sound than the stock systems found in the average vehicle.

Anything can be justified, and anything can be abused.

Why not?,
Theres lots of purpose in having a huge audio system
-Piss off your stupid neighbor's
-Host a portable dance club anywhere
-enjoy a good kick in the chest from a good beat
-never ever go to a massage therapist again
& the list goes on.
Mr Singh,You are running a different wall now,(diamond in the past)
Could you perhaps show pics or explain your new wall configuration?
Thanks

I agree with you that a well thought out sound system can produce a much better sound that factory no doubt and you are right that anything can be justified or abused. I just think that 25,000 watts of power is a little overkill just as i think 800 rwhp in a van is overkill as well.
