Oh my Buddha.
Is it true that if you spit it becomes ice before it lands?

At my home in Thailand it use to be the other way, +35c - +40c, there I have seen a gentle rain that never came down to the ground, it evaporated about 4feet above the ground. :-s

We have a winner ( or loser if you hate cold, lol )

The Canadian Prairies will ALWAYS be the coldest its just the way the arctic air rushes down, unless you are living in the Yukon or Alaska and sometimes even they are not as cold.
So you're saying that the only thing keeping the North Pole from crawling down to Calgary is Nunavut?

Do you expect responses from member's in Nunavut telling you how cold it is up there? LOL

Hey Fellers, It's been awhile since I've had to figure wind chill. OK, so it's 65.8 degrees and we have a 4 mph wind. So what is my wind chill? Jim

I think we ought to abduct those people claiming sub-tropical temperatures and bring them up here -- DRESSED AS THEY ARE!

We aren't claiming "sub-tropical temperatures", we have tropical temperatures here! Today, 81*F with a humidity index making it feel like 86*F!! Heck, aside from dress shirts, I don't own anything with long sleeves!

And I'd love to take you up on that offer. But I gotta tell you, I'm pretty resilent to cold, with a thick layer of blubber on me and a natural fur coat, cold doesn't bother me much!! You folks do have indoor heating though right? If so, I'll be fine then!!

I think I'll come up there and abduct you, Squidster. We'll come down to the land where the word "cold" is used in reference to a glass of iced tea. :muhaha: By the way........58 and raining. \:D/
