Opened the rear end up again and re-set the backlash and preload. Ran it up on blocks and found it is as loud or louder than before! ](*,)

Did tons oh stuff with the goodies from the junkyard. Swapped taillights, center console and dash. I know everyone likes pictures here so...

Changed over my glovebox, a little dirty, but some spit polish and it'll be good as new:

Image

Just need more grey stuff to match the color I'm going with in the future (Dark Navy ^^)

Got a new / different radio console. Can't really tell the diffference, but it fits tighter now.

Image

Didn't get my headlight / markerlight toggle swapped but I also found my dimmer switch had shorted out:

Image

Switched tails, old ones got hit by sprayover by previous owner

Image

And it's worth mentioning, here's my catch-all in the front:

Image

Got a couple more center hub covers (now have four)

Image

And le toys (the Ford 8n is my dad's):

Image

Two thoughts: any time I'm going hunting in a junkyard in the future, first thing I'm looking for is a seat cover. They make great "shopping bags" and two.. I need to make sure to fill my pockets with tiny goodies. the washers with nuts attached, fuses, etc etc. that stuff is hard to find, and also a b*tch to lose when taking things apart.

Not today but over the past week I installed S10 3+1 packs in the rear, added helwig rear sway bar, 2" body pucks, cranked up the torsion bars, new shocks all around, new idlers, new driverside hub unit, changed the t-case fluid, oil change, alignment, mounted the safari rack from my old jeep, mounted an arb awning, and ripped off all the body molding.

drilled some holes in the adapter plate for the single plane conversion. Need to cut out the big hole. Thinking jigsaw. We'll see how it does on aluminum.

yes...about a month ago. some guy came off a entrance ramp and changed lanes across the front of my van. it destroyed my fender, bumper, cracked the grille, and took about a foot off the front of the running board.
