I got to dig into it and figure out where that little puddle of coolant came from...... Can see a damn thing between the AC Unit and the Airbox other than it's wet back there. I replaced the heat diverter valve last winter after I broke the old one. I really don't want to do that again !

Pulled the Airbox and yup, coolant is dribbling from the top of that darn 6 nippled valve. $ 76.70 + tax from the dealer and I pick it up tonight or $53 + shipping from Rock Auto plus another gallon of coolant. Thankfully its going to be just below freezing for the next few days instead of the icebox we have been in for the last 2 weeks.

Having no luck with vehicles lately. Even my trusty forklift which is always indoors is giving me grief !

Ordered the 4" lift spindles from OLV. Anyone else done this since 2008?????????? Basically copying 97CargoCrawler on this one. Trying to find out what he did with the brake lines... :peep:
Pick two: fast, cheap, good
Want it fast and cheap, won't be good.
Want it cheap and good, won't be fast.

swapped in the new valve today in the wet snow. Broke 3 nipples off trying to get the old one off. The plastic seems really soft and brittle for something that's only been on there for a year. Van's running out back now in an attempt to burp the air our of the system.

yup i ordered gmc full size 1989-1999 and it is almost perfect width the mounts that came with it will either have to be heavily modified or just custom ones made. I'll be sure to post that info once it's figured out

:/ I had some flaking paint around the license plate pocket on the rear door that I want to clean up. Broke every single one of the pins holding the door panel on trying to get it off. I even have the correct tool to remove them.

Realized I haven't been on here in a while. My 95 is RIP. Got messed up pretty bad in December by a guy who fell asleep at the wheel, crossed the center line, and took out my left side bumper to bumper and ripped out my rear axle (I walked away, beat up but alive....the van not so much.)
The 00 was taken out of commission in the same wreck. The running board got ripped off the 95, went airborne, and into the windshield/ hightop of the 00. The guy who hit me also went down the side of the 00, damaging the running board and fender. It's been in the shop for a couple months as the body shop argues with the insurance company over repairs.

I ended up buying a 94 safari high top explorer limited conversion to replace the 95.(farthest I've ever driven to get a vehicle...2.5 hours round trip and the guy actually met me halfway). Loaded with lace alloys, wood everywhere, and a power sunroof. It's a pretty sweet van

Looking on Craig's list and found a 86 shorty rwd four cyl. Five speed manual for cheap. Not much luck trying to convince my wife she would rather drive this cool van and get rid of her Mercedes
