Thanks for the responses,Gary I think you got it =D>
tomorrow is going to be a nice day & good temps so Steph & I
are working on our daily drivers, doing tune-ups,oil,etc.Sunday is supposed to
be lousy for weather & perfect for setting up a mini booth.
We have decided that the heads are coming off to get ported, valves cleaned, install new seals, guides, springs, keepers checked out/tested.May aswell as I have a buddy at a local machine shop & why not scrape more power now while it's out.

Darren - I have the tools to do valve seals.
As far as a mini booth is concerned it will consist of poly hung from the cieling
then tuck taped with a poly drape to get in & out.Sounds redneck but will work well,
The small shop here is enclosed, heated, insulated & poly'ed already so it acts as a
booth.I will be using a shop fan to extract & boot the main shop door open to vent fumes.
Once it's completed, just roll up the poly & tack it to the cieling & keep it there
for future painting.

Im not a booth builder by any means but I would recommend framing up & sealing
your area for painting.Main key points would be sealing it tight & utilizing a solid
large thru wall mounted extractor fan.A clean floor to soak down before painting
& lighting is easy.
Here's a few pics of the shop I built to give you an idea of whats up.

The framing you see on the wall is there to hang a astro hood for fun

Tonight Stephanie & I installed the pushrods & set the rockers.

The heads were machined/built at a local machine shop in Langley.
I picked up the gasket set today & a new harmonic balancer.
Before installing the new balancer I have to check crank OD & balancer ID
for correct interference fit.
