Seven: Found out that I couldn't get AAA to tow it to my bro's house. Will use a tow dolly on Tuesday. Pulled the Class III hitch receiver off it, to install on Grumpy.

Drove from Kaleden BC (just south of Penticton) to Calgary AB - got a P0101 error code going up a huge hill (nailing it to pass a loaded rig). Had the scanguage and just reset it - didn't get it again - think I'll clean my air filter tomorrow.... damn near got 20mpg again - I'll get the exact numbers figured tomorrow or something like that - basically 750 km

10am I went to Autozone and borrowed the Ball Joint Press tool... Man do I feel like a dummy. I changed out the right side upper & lower ball joint, put the wheel back on and was driving the van by lunch time... I wish I would have done this on Saturday #-o

Anyhow, the Rhino is back in action :bounce: I am a happy camper once again!

Drove from Woodstock ON to Carlisle PA. I didn't record the mileage, but it seemed much better than other years.

I was busy today. Changed the oil, air filter, fuel filter, rotated the tires, cleaned the windshield and put on Rain-X and lastly I put on new wiper blades.

I'm still in the fabrication stages of the 12 bolt rearend that's replacing the stock rear. Today I hope to get the left side housing end welded in place. And if everything goes OK I'll get all of the other brackets welded on also. \:D/

Seven: Removed the rear drive shaft and mounted two donuts in the front. Then towed it to my brothers house.

Loaded up nicely, once Grumpy was used to shove it up the ramps.

Uhaul thinks we're moving a Dodge Neon. They won't rent tow dollies to move an Astro, they are supposed to be too wide.

The only good reason to use donuts on an Astro.

Plenty of room now.

We didn't bring Grumpy to the unload point and couldn't push Seven off the dolly. Our solution, set it's parking brake and pull the dolly out from under it. Worked beautifully. Unfortunately I didn't take pics or video of that.

More long deserved maintenance on my van. New Cap/Rotor, plugs and plug wires. Now I remember why I put this job off for so long.
