Actually, yes I did. I haven't had a chance to write it up yet, but stay tuned. I should have it up in the next few days.

Drove over to my shop & wrenched on Kitediva's 89.
Drove over to Kidhauler's house to begin the airbag install on his 99.
Tonight I'll be heading back to Kidhauler's to actually work on it,
rather than just standing around drinkin' beer. :partyman:

excellent 6spd. i look forward to it.

99 AC continued.. last night: removed the rad shroud to access the large nut on the high side line. removed the line, cut it, took the FMSI cap and line to a local AC shop we deal with, with the special (expensive) tool, he installed the block-off cap. got all new o-rings soaked in mineral oil for the entire system and a new orifice tube. reinstalled everything and charged the system. compressor ran smooth and the air was still cold after about 20min and was holding pressure. that was a good sign =D> we'll see how the next few days go. put the doghouse back on and rest of the interior, as well as the grille.

just before i installed the signal light lenses i decided to find my 3M headlight restoration kit i bought several months ago (a task in itself). cleaned them up in about 15min before reinstalling them. don't worry zam, i've still got the corner lights to do. i'll post a write-up/review soon, i've been way too busy. i was losing daylight to take pics last night.

i still have the warped rotor to change 8-[

Not a van but hauls 6 people, dog and camping gear and has 4WD....just a different style of van! LOL

Did a lube, oil and filter on my truck. Also installed a new steering stabilizer only to break the mount stud off. #-o Called Rancho and they are sending a new hardware kit. :supz: Also installed 5 new Rancho RS9000XL shocks. Was a good day wrenching again.

CD, that is far too much being accomplished before 8:30am on a Saturday. You have no doubt upset a Cosmic Balance which someone, somewhere will have to correct by experiencing all kinds of weird problems while doing what should have been a simple Astro maintenance job.
Probably me. 8-[

Sorry about that! It had to get done before the rain hit. My legs were sticking out from under the van, getting wet from the sprinkles as I was tightening everything up.

Oh and my wife says I have already paid karma many times over with my bad luck in years past on projects like this. She said it was about time something went my way. Gonna keep her around!

took out d/s bucket seat out of the blazer and installed it in the astro...started on the passenger side, but the nearly 100 degree heat ran me inside...soon it'll be without those nasty, low-back, non-adjustable seats... \:D/
