Ladies and Gentlemen Glad to report that the van is complete. FINALLY!!!!!!

the only thing that needs to be done is the Exhaust, beside that? SHE is complete, she drives, she stops, she doesn't burn oil nor have any leaks. that beast is now bone dry and drivable

the van backed in with no problem

WOW, just put the insurance back on the van and went for a little test drive. damn that van is loud, but it sure turned a few heads though, as i was about to leave the pub, a bunch of kids with a pick up of a size of a monster truck parks beside my van and they just looked at it not knowing what was under the hood until i fired up the motor and all i heard was "HECK YA MOFO, HECK YA BURN OUT BURN OUT....." so they had a nice show of a nice burn out.

I FRacking love my van. :D :supz:

Van going to the shop tomorrow for exhaust and wheel balance and i can finally drive it without setting off the car alarms. :-({|=

well all good fun came to an end yesterday,

Looks like that burn out ????? will have to wait as i blew the tranny yesterday on my way home from work.
i had the first gear hardly could go on 2nd, no 3 rd and no OD. not sure if this is a tranny problem or a torque converter. i doubt it is the torque! let me know what you guys think

currently on cleaning my other tranny and looks like it is going to be a week end project.

to my new friend at lake cowichan? yes we should go for a beer. as soon as i get my other tranny in there.

as i had a few scare earlier as i thought that my other tranny was also shot and to my good feeling, put the other torque converter back in it and the pump is working as it was gushing out fluid like the way it should of as i thought the bearing were shot after sitting out there for so long.

So all of this are now cleaned up and painted and i just need to swap the tc to my other tranny and cross fingers that all will work according to plan as i am dying to drive the van so i can go and drive and drive and drive well you get the idea.

So i am a bit pissed off on the fact that the guy that i bought the tranny from told me that it was a rebuild to later find out that god damn tranny was nothing but a lemon. i can't go after him as it has been over 9 months since i bought it, so there is not much i can do about it to get my money back or anything.

So i will put back my old tranny which has about 165, 000 km on there and put a better TC and crossed fingers that will go as what was suppose to be plan A.

Then we can go for a beer oh my friend of Lake cowichan and have a beer

it is a GT as it is my dad's van, but he blew the motor on that one as we are going to swap the motor from my previous V6 motor that i use to have on my Astro.
His motor is burning so much oil it isn't funny. So we are hoping to have it done by the end of summer.

Good van though, nice and strong on the road. :D looking forward to do the engine swap.
