Well, the Alberta Clipper once again looms ominously. The Highline is getting sub-zero temps and we've got close to that, It feels like -1º right now.

I've a friend in Eden Prairie, MN, who informs me that the natives are preparing to invade Nunavut just to get warm! :poke:

Well, it is "officially" freezing here!!! A bonafide 32*F! And I love it!

It's kind of a weird "cold" though.. I've been in much warmer weather and it felt colder than this...I guess that's the beauty of no wind!!

But the best part about this cooler weather, NO MOSQUITOS!!

I'll take 32F with no wind over 50F and a damp wind blowing any day...dampness and wind make things way more uncomfortable.

Came home to an inoperative furnace again. The repairman FINALLY fixed it. It was a faulty gas valve!

With it being as cold as it is across the Nation, I only have one question?
Where is Al Gore when you need him (Global Warming)? Jim

This cold is an "inconvenient truth" for Al Gore....

It's 0*F here in NE. NW winds @ 28 mph gusts to 37mph.

Windchill = -25*F.
