I smoothed out my firewall panel today, getting rid of some ugly holes, to make it more pleasing to the eye when I open the hood. I am gonna remount my MSD box to a more air cooled location.

Tried to replace the donut spare on the LT with the newly repaired tire.Grrrrrr-the tire went down again. ](*,) ](*,)

Took a look at the lip on one side window to see how I am going to do the window filler on Ole Yellar.Looks like I will be able to shim it to lay the panel on the shim.More to come on that.

Visited my friend's shop today. We pulled the headliner and removed the roof rack. Started mapping out where to cut the roof for my DIY pop-top project...

Image
Mapped out the x/y plane of the roof on paper so we can update the CAD model. Next week or so we'll scribe the roof curves for the z-direction...

Grumpy: Re-installed the front drive shaft, changed the transfer case fluid, added Lucas Transmission Fix to the trans, then went for a drive that included some gravel road burn outs.

Also mounted tires on the red rims that will be going on Grumpy once a balance has been done.

Drove to my garage to pick up tools to take off parts at a junk yard for the LT.(yeah it is a long drive to the garage on the other side of town)Then drove to the other side of town to the junk yard which was closed.Grrrrr.It was too late to drive to another yard I deal with.Well I did a pretty good job of spinning my wheels.Stopped by a wally world for a flasher/bulbs and yep they don't sell flashers.Guess it was one of those days better spent in bed.
