My Gurls rear end and body is all prepped and waiting for a coat of filler primer, this week I have been working on smoothing out her front end after fitting her hood gas struts.

I finally got my fiberglass smooth wiper cowl to fit perfect, by making it sit at the proper height and all the gaps even, (they fit like ch1t when you buy them) with the hood and fenders, I had to modify it with some fiberglass additions.

Then I fabricated some sheet steel to smooth out those fugly holes, which will give a much cleaner look when I open the hood.

Hi Darren, thought I'd chat over here for a change! Great job on the bonnet, Oops! HOOD gas struts, what struts did you use?? also, maybe looking to do the lift up side door, any problems with that? & again, what gas rams have you used as the door must be quite heavy?
cheers

Hi Warbird, Cool to see you here, I used Toyota gas struts for my hood and Mazda gas struts for my Gullwing slider.
