Ok Ok, I'm not so sure this qualifies as cool to everybody, but here goes... You gotta read about it in the link.
Its touted as "the world's most economical car", which, in this day and age is pretty cool, I think...
I've layed up some carbon fiber Kayaks in my time, so I kinda shake my head at their price.
They claim it can be sold for only 600 USD, but I suspect that is ONLY if it is built and sold ONLY in China.
Still, Cool.

First off, sorry this pic is so huge.
OK, so I've been lurking a bit over at Expedition Portal... and I also saw that Valley Ford in Yakima has a used New Beetle turbo-diesel for sale. I'm not a car guy. And I hate the looks of the New Beetle. (Love the new Beetle though!) But I'd like to find a replacement for the Red Turd, and a TDI would be sweeeet. So I did a quick search of off-road New Beatles. Found a couple - cool! But then I found this on Expedition Portal, and followed the link to VWVortex. This is just too freakin' cool! (And honestly, I've thought about doing the same to the Red Turd. Yes, a fwd off-roader is a major poser, but 'dare to be different' I say!)

For those who just have to have the biggest offroad tires on their pavement princesses, always hoping for all the stares from all the people....
Their massively insecure & overcompensating egos wont be able to live without one of these babies ......

And, as an addad bonus, its actually capable of putting the huge tires into a swamp, and getting them back out again.
They are a bit pricey though.
