You replaced the headliner material then,
didn't you?

Yes, I did both the headliner parts - front big, back little.
Had to rebuild parts of the front for a couple reasons.
And yeah, Randy, I never learn... that the woke crowd can say all they want - Heckle and Jeckle are NOT RACIST...
LOL - G00gull has it wrong - a little research will verify they were smart alec NY Magpies.
Crows are all black - Magpies have lighter fronts and Yellow beaks. If anything, Magpies are aholes ( to put it mildly ).
I hate stupid, jerk, foolish, ignorant people and if that includes a high percentage of a certain type folk... well... then, so be it.
Facts are Facts.

Nobody will be heckled for cartoons here. How about we leave the drama where it belongs?

OH, Joe, I know what Randy means - and He IS JUST KIDDING.
Believe me, my anger and talk of H & J are directed to the admin at the "evil empire". They are silly aholes
and...
to somewhat quote Father Verecker:
" May God grant them time to relive that moment in shame "

Mike, when you did the plastic repair on the grill what did you use and how has it held up?

Of the ( 8 ) upper Mounting Tabs I worked on, only one of the 2 center Grille tabs have / had any cracks.
The bottom White Nylon retainer that I "boxed in" - the repair failed. The entire grill & bezel R & R - I covered over on "The Evil Empire".
Overall, very pleased with the repair - probably could have put more 'bite' into the mating surfaces.
Some scoring or plastic bridging would have helped.
Here's what I used:
686 Grille and Trim Bezel Repair - JB Weld - Goop and Model glue
Paint held on very well also. There was some wonderful ridicule about the way I masked & painted. Anyone with 1/4 brain should have masked the other color first... blah. blah. It was funny, but unseen when I spent forever tediously masking around the silver... lordy.
Have Fun - as the results are So, So satisfying.

I bought a plastic welder for future use. Has metal you put inside and plastic welding rods.
Alumibond is like JB Weld on steroids.

Randy, is that like a hot glue machine on steroids ? Got a pic or anything ?
Sounds like a "Hand-Held Weld Printer", like you would normally see inside a box on rails, 3D stuff, etc.
Never heard of Alumibond - but I don't get out much. Just a search away.
I will have one / two areas to repair and a couple to reinforce one day.
