Hey Kev. It's so true. My wife is so busy these days I have the kids ALL the time. Oh well, I love being a dad, but a couple of hours off would be nice...

I sympathize.
I am a stay at home mom, we just moved from a place where I knew noone and they didn't care to know me. When I would get sick, it was tough crap because PJ was working/ on call 24/7 and he was frequently known to be gone for several days on a few hours notice. There was no adult interaction or help to be found.

You do not realize how badly you need adult interaction until it is denied you regularly for 6 years. I would have welcomed a part time or full time job but there was no off time on PJ's job and no way to afford anyone to do my job.

Finally, we've moved and I worry less because my mother and sister are right down the road. O:)

I know where your coming from gurl. I can't even count the days that I would come home and my wife would hand me a screaming child say HERE HES YOURS NOW!!! and then go hide in the bathtub for a while.

You know you have been around the kids too much when you are singing the barney song while driving and you don't have the kids with you. ](*,)

Hey, wait a minute. I was told that if I came over to this site, riffraff like Kid and Canada would be kept out! I've been maliciously manipulated ](*,)

Ha. That's not manipulation. You'll know you've been manipulated by me when you realize that your van keys and credit card are missing and you can't find your pants... O:)
