Thanks for the compliments on the pics, but that ain't me!
It was pretty freaky walkin' around out there. I'd guess it was 3" thick. Some of the ice was so clear you could see the bottom. We were careful and the water across that section of river was only about 3 feet deep.

Is that a friend or just some random person?

I've walked on frozen lakes when we lived in NH.... about 100 years ago. It's creepy when you hear weird sounds from the ice.

When I was living in NH, people drove out on the lakes up there all the time. You wouldn't catch me doing it. Supposedly, there's over 100 cars at the bottom of Lake Sunapee alone. :-s
