2nd row seating mount question..

Post by crash »

I'd like to swap the 2nd row buckets from the 93 into the 94...

upon closer inspection late last night I see there are two extra mounts in that row. without pulling up the carpet.. what's under there?? .. can these extra two anchors and trim be popped into the 94? .. or am i looking at cutting holes in the floor to mount these puppys?

thanks.. yet again..

the holes to cut are prestamped on the floor of your van, so yeah, you'll probably have to cut them out, but you already have the lines drawn.

My DH says that the cups will have to be then bolted or rivetted into place.

Rob, my 89 Safari only had the middle seat, not the rear one. I checked to see if the floor cups were there for the rear seat--no dice, the factory never installed them.
I've seen a junked Astro that had had the floor cups removed via a hammer and a chisel; somebody must've wanted to add seats to a cargo van.
