Anybody replaced their front windsheild lately - and how much did you pay and where are you located. Just curious?

I had my windshield on my '97 Astro replaced at Windshield Sugreons in Edmonton a couple of weeks ago for $209 (+$30 for new stripping) and got an extra 2 years of warranty for $49 which covers me for 3 rock chip repairs and replace the windshiel for $69. ALSO, with the extra 2 year warranty, I got an Oil/lube which will be mailed to me. (worth about $50) A good deal I thought, altogether about $300, not too bad for what I got. They did a good job, and were good guys. Hope that helps!

There's only ONE windshield. The rest are windows.

Here in the southeast corner of Texas, it costs $205 to get the windshield replaced. Now if you have it done through your insurance company, there is a $250 deductable. Hmmm. Wonder what is with that???

What is this "plus tax" of which you speak?

That would be state sales tax on the windshield. Some states even tax labor. :yikes:

Sales tax? Again, these are terms I am not familiar with.
