Fuel lines

Post by fingernipp »

I recently found that some sort of rodent decided to gnaw at the flexable section of one of the fuel lines that pass over the transfer case on my 97 AWD astro. Has anyone eliminated the flexable sections and replaced with solid line without any issues? I can always cut the old flexable portion away and replace with some high pressure rubber hose and some clamps i guess. Any suggestions?

You will want to keep the flexible sections due to flex and twist on the engine while accelerating. If you make it solid it'll crack over time.
