How hard is it to remove/install the bumper cover on the 95+ Astros? Thinking about taking Grumpy's off for off roading today.

My rear bumper cover came off accidentally when I was unloading a sofa. Well, it didn't actually come off all the way, but it came loose. I doubt there was much else needed to get it off. Now I just have to figure out how to get it back on again. ](*,)

Oops, I meant the front bumper cover.

I have the same problem with Green's rear bumper cover though. The tabs that hold it in place on top of the bumper have all broken off.

Its pretty easy. You have to remove the grill shell. Then their are four bolt, two on each side on both sides of the bumper. And their are about five tabs with push in clips on the top that you can get to once you take out the grill shell. This should only take about a half hour.Hope this helps.

It helps, but I ran did the wheeling with it in place. Hit the dam a lot, but hey, it was broken when I bought the van.

Oops I missed this post - did you remove the cover yet? It is quite easy and with minimal effort. Someone already said to remove the front grill then the one screw in the rod inside by wheel well on both sides and then all pull-clips on the top.

rear cover came off mine while unloading something, I still had some adhesive left in the tube from the hatch window replacement, used what was left in the tube, making a few lack blobs in the corner and a couple in the middle and slid it over the bumper and pushed into place.....didn't blow off while driving or slice off today, when I was loading and unloading, so I'm hoping that it fixed at least for now.... there was some blobs of adhesives of some kind already on the top of the bumper, so I figured.... if it stuck to the cover and bumper, half as well as it stuck to my hands after the window installation, should be fine..........

What adhesive was it? I assume I'd be able to get it at an auto parts store, right.
