96' cargao astro, soon to be V8

Post by phatmaxx87 »

Hi all.

Here is my van. I have had it for about three years or so. I have done some mods to it such as 3-2 static drop, re-paint, some interior work, stereo and so on. I got bored and took some pictures. This is the van the 383 chevy SB that I am documenting in the engine forum is going in(check it out BTW). Anyways, injoy and some of you vets may remember it.

Beautiful truck, Vance. I'm anxious to see it finished!

As well, it simply blows me away how much technology has advanced in regards to paint. Solid colours were the only choice. Then they came out with mini-metalflake paint. Then those big flakes we saw so much of in the 70's. Then pearl-type paints in the 90's.
And now water-droplet finishes?
Is there no end to the creativity of manufacturers? :-k

Looking real niiiiiice! P.S. Don't you wish the halo's on the headlights were brighter? They are cool, but I can't run mine during the day cause you can't see them. Oh well. Def digging the center console, I def need to finish mine now. Cheers. \:D/

The halos I like. Have them around the driving lights in my bumper cover. Think they were 5 different colors with a button switch to change colors. Didn't last long but could be as many times as I've removed the many + & - wires running to my battery I have one on the wrong terminal. Not high on the list to check out right now.
