thought i would just take this and turn it into my build thread

new axle

this is gonna be long gone soon and in its place a nice smooth pan

painted the grill and emblem looks 200% better imo

proof that i can kill 3:23 gears and why i swapped in the new axle...

so here are the plans
1.filer panels are on the way so its getting shaved
2. its getting a roll pan
3.all the body work and paint..including a one off custom hood. the hood will be fiberglass over the steel backing it will have a cowl scoop and a raised skull and hands looking like they want to break out
4.the interior
5.the drop

im hoping to get most of this done before winter hits..wont bother me if i dont get the drop done cause i might possibly have to drive this all winter

Did you get a new rear ? the one from dean ?or is this just the tear down ?
YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.


DAILY THOUGHT:
SOME PEOPLE ARE LIKE SLINKIES - NOT REALLY GOOD FOR ANYTHING BUT THEY BRING A SMILE TO YOUR FACE WHEN PUSHED DOWN THE STAIRS.

yea skips got the one from deano which came from zam..thats the one in the 2nd pic..shoulda stopped up when i was up at deans

no problem on stoppin by , i'm not in the same spot anymore anyways lol .
just glad to see you got the rear from someone here that knows rear ends & not from some junk yard where your taking a chance its good .
so are ya rollin again or do you have other things to fix first ?

my a/c pump froze..so im waiting on my delete pully should be in today...then im back in the stro

whats up with your rear bumper? do you plan on putting the stock fascia back over it or just leaving it as is?
99 SLT Safari AWD, G80/GT4 rear, Burgundy, 196,000 and counting (strictly AMSOIL) flowmaster 40series muffler no more cat, K&N Kone Filter, roll pan, 255/60/15 rubbers mounted to 15x8.5 inch American Racing Tailgunner wheels, billet grille, CB Radio, Alpine Deck, Shag carpet, the list goes on....
03 Chevy Silverado 2500HD, LB7 Duramax Diesel, 5 speed Allison Tranny, Crew Cab Long Bed, no muffler or cat, 4 inch turbo back and side piped. not too many other mods yet, also addicted to AMSOIL.

If it didn't work out on the bypass pulley, I have a new one Keith passed on to me,,you're welcome to it.
