Final Burnout with the V6

Here is a video of the van doing the last burnout with the 4.3 in it. It was a reliable motor. This post is just to promote the V8 swap that I am documenting over in the V8 fourm.

Vance,
You could hook up a line lock that would lock-up the front brakes only for burnouts.But I have heard Astro's trannies don't like that kind of heat too much.

i did those in my driveway for a year straight.... took a day to get the van to start and stay running... but it was worth it :) now my van is scrapped! learn something from this experience... if your van cant handle burnouts, make it more powerful ;)

Vance-every time I look at your pics of your van-it looks deep purple.Danny said it is black.Am I loon or did you paint black over some sort of purple??.

I dunno... maybe you need to adjust your monitor settings... It looks black from where I'm sitting. :poke:
