YOU ONLY NEED TWO TOOLS IN LIFE - WD-40 AND DUCT TAPE. IF IT DOESN'T MOVE AND SHOULD, USE THE WD-40. IF IT SHOULDN'T MOVE AND DOES, USE THE DUCT TAPE.

An 8" wide wheel would be good.

Skippy! I just put that size on the rear of my 93 Safari, I used 8" Crager "smoothies" They look good on my lowered Van, When you open your slider, the lower inside trim will just touch the tire when you open it a little over half open. You will notice that, but to me it was no big deal.

i think the 8" rim is gonna be a little small for a 275.....a 9" minimum i would think but 10 would be perfect

are they 295/60 or 295/50?

I seem to remember a lot of 295/50's in the days that I desired a tire like that, but not a 295/60

anyways, for a 295/50 goodrich wants 8-10" rim. Would make sense that 295/60 would be the same or even narrower.

The black wheels were 7" wide AR-767's with 0 offset.

I figure if truck manufacturers put 7.5" or 8" wide wheels on tires that are 265 mm wide then skippy's 275 mm wide tires should be good on an 8" wheel.

That is correct. I ran some 11.5" (292.1 mm) wide tires on the 7" wheels skippy has on the 95 conversion.

He is getting a set of 275's not 295's. These numbers refer to the width. The 50 and 60 refer to the sidewall height. A 295/50 would be the same width as a 295/60.
