Welcome BC-Astro. This is the first time I have ever heard of that! :-s Any chance you have kids and one of them put some extra ice cubes in there? :muhaha:

Anything else wet? In order for water to get into the ashtray, I would expect you would see water on the dash, in the cup holders or in the carpet. Maybe the windshield is leaking someplace?

We only have 4 legged kids :muhaha:

Sometimes I can see some water on top of the dash leaking from the rear view mirror post - I guess it is condensation ... (the rest is dry)

Hey fellow BC Astro :supz: , I'm guessing the water came from the sky in the form of rain. :D
You may have noticed that we have gotten a little rain lately.
The water is probably leaking in though the top of your windshield. This may not happen during "normal" wet coast weather, but if your van has been sitting with snow on the roof any opportunity the water has to get in will be more apparent.
My garage was leaking during the snowfalls we've had lately but after I shoveled the snow off, it stopped leaking. Could be the same thing going on with your van.
Heard the lower mainland got more snow last. :D :D :D
