ok new here and i need help i have a 2000 astro van stock i need a new cam is there a biger cam i can get without upgradeing everything now dnt have a lot of cash just doing one thing at a time i have to get a cam anyway what do i get?

Actually, I wouldn't.

If I had a bad 4.3, one that needed more than simple, easy, inexpensive work, I'd toss it for a 5.7 V8, or just swap in another cheap 4.3. I bet you'd be even or ahead on cash.

I'm with rlsllc, pull the motor, run a chain though one of the bores and call it a boat anchor. A v8 is your answer.
