this is a soapbox derby car we did at the shop where i work. i did the flames on it.
the story:
the guy that owns the ford truck in the pic (Kevin Couch) built the soap box derby car for his nephew a while ago. a little over a month ago Kevin passed away from a heart attack. he worked at the shop where i work and he was a big part of it. Kevin's sister brought the car to us for an upcoming sopabox race, and she said just get creative. so we decided to make it memory of Kevin.
