How is everyone?
I join this sight because I have 2 Safari's, The fist is a 86 gt starcraft conversion rust free not bad for michigan, with a TBI 350, 700r4 trans/shift kit and a 3:08 posi rear, the second one is my problem vehicle. As of this time it has a dead cylinder on the #6 piston. This is a 97 Safari with AWD and the SLT model. I am hopeing to find any info on replacing the 4.3 w motor with a same year 5.7 vortec, I know I need the oil pan and mounts to do this but I don't know anything other than that besides the ECM aby info would be greatly needed so I can return it to the road

Welcome! Already a V8 and soon to be a second...
Look through the V8 swap section for info on doing a Vortec 350 swap.
