The BIG game

Post by astrozam »

This year my son wanted to play football, and so we thought it would be a great way for him to get in shape have fun and learn a little about team play etc. Well today was opening day for reg season play and the teams got to play their 1st game at Ivor Wynne stadium which is where the Hamilton Tiger Cats ( of the CFL ) play their home games. Ivor Wynne is certainley not the newest or most modern Football Stadium in the CFL and it is a little smaller than the average NFL Stadium, BUT there is no question that the place has seen some of the greatest games played there over the years and is full of history. To put it in perspective its like a Kid from Green Bay getting to play his 1st game at Lambeau Field, although they did not win the game ( lost 18 to 12 ) he did score a sweet old school TD up the middle smash-mouth style he even lost his right shoe but didn't let that stop him.
