There was A LOT of Astros on that list!

It really pissed me off to see so many cars under 3 years old. What BS.

Thank You oh dear Lord Obama and all of Your Chronies! The was an excellent way to bail out Government Motors and protect all of those executives--it's not like many Chevies are made in the US anymore!

On another note, some people are morons. There Austin Martins and some later model BMWs on that list...

Edit: WTF?! People were trading Jaguars under this program?!

Yeah, there is a very nice looking Jaguar XK8 at my local yard. I don't see how it wasn't worth more than $4500. Idiots.

I don't see how a mid to late 2000 vehicle could be called a clunker. I don't know the limitations there, but what I have seen in Canada requires that the car be road worthy and licensed for at least a year. The only way a 2005 or later vehicle could be worth less that $4500 is if is was totaled, but they, at least here in Canada, it wouldn't qualify. In fact what I have seen here requires a vehicle that is at least 15 years old. Go figure. Looks like a big waste of tax money to me.

did you notice that the 95 models were the most traded in. Guess it goes to speak of quality you can see what years of what cars were bad by seeing how many were traded in. There were over 1000 95 cargo vans traded in I guess people are tired of $2000 repair bills for the fuel injection spyder.

wasn't '95 - '96 about the time they switched over to the multipoint fuel injection and OBDII? I've never been a fan of being on the bleeding edge of anything.

Some people change cars like clothes. A buddy of mine is like that...sacrilege if you ask me. Drive 'em till they die.

After seeing the list. I wonder whether or not anyone else is still waiting on their check. I don't have the disposable income that those people had to go and buy something new. So, I'm still waiting for my check for 45 hundred dollars to fix up my clunker. Uncle Sam, don't keep me waiting! Jim

What, Wait, ya mean thats not the way it works? :axe:
