Guys

Does anyone know which is the speed sense wire on a 97' Astro? Hooking up a Pioneer navigation unit and requires a speed sense connection for the GPS to track speed.

Thanks!
Am

i have a pioneer one in mine i believe it was a green and white wire and i cut it out of the original head unit connector. i'll see if i can dig up the papers i had when doing my 98 to confirm that tho

Is that the wire on your pioneer loom or the vans? I'm looking for the VSS wire anywhere inside the interior I can get a feed from :)

The vehicle speed sensor (vss) is in the tailshaft of the transmission, you could trace the wires back to the dash from there. Should be easy if your interior is still stripped out from installing your monster stereo.

i just looked at the stock unit i pulled out, there is the green wire with a white strip to the head unit attached to the factory connector but i can't find the paperwork i had that identified all the wires sadly but I'm 90% sure that's the right wire
